Broadway Ladies: Ms. May 2012: Caissie Levy

Ms. Broadway May 2012
Caissie Levy

WHY SHE'S MS. BROADWAY: Perhaps the better title for her might be Ms. World Stage!  This native Canadian has made it big in Toronto, across the Unites States, London's West End, and, of course, Broadway!  You might have seen her on tour in RENT or in L.A. in Wicked.  Maybe it her hilarious turn as Penny Pingleton in the National Tour of Hairspray.  More than likely, you've caught her on Broadway in Hair, or in her first original Broadway role as Molly in Ghost: The Musical.  Whether it is "Defying Gravity," "Without Love" or "Easy to Be Hard" you are sure to be hearing a true vocal delight when it is Caissie Levy doing the singing!  And though the critics may have dismissed her show, she has proven that she can be a Broadway leading lady. If you've heard her sing "With You," you know exactly why she's Ms. Broadway!
